Description

Pokemon Blitz is an endless Pokemon themed survival game built using the custom made Dragonfly game engine. Choose from one of three available Pokemon to play as and survive for as long as you can against the endless waves of Pokeballs and voltorbs flying at you! Each Pokemon has its own unique set of abilities, health, and attributes to aid in your survival. You gain points every second you stay alive as well as destroying enemies with your abilities. 

Development

This project was created by two people over the course of 2 weeks (February 2023 - March 2023). The game engine it is built upon was developed over the course of 1 month (January 2023 - February 2023).

Contributions

  • Created ASCII art assets
  • Chose accompanying audio
  • Programmed player movement, abilities, navigable menu, and HUD.

3. Double click the pokemon-blitz.exe executable to run the game.
